I believe in turning off the lights. I forget and waste things on a daily basis, but I’ve become better and better at remembering to turn off the lights. In such a large, fast-moving world, it’s hard to believe that one person’s carefulness could truly make a difference. Though I try to be optimistic in my attempts and remind myself that I’m using the energy that I need when I need it. By flipping the switch when it’s necessary, and appreciating natural light, I’ve made a subtle contribution.
